"I'm on a mission to plug our community of Southern Illinois physicians and connect them with the students so years down the road, they can take care of all of us," said Dr. Kelli Webb.

She's worked with SIU School of Medicine to put on a medical student career exploration event for the past three years. 70 first-year medical students got the chance to interact and ask questions  of 41 physicians from over 23 specialties.
